Justice League Chronicles Overview
Justice League Chronicles is a Game Boy Advance title that continues the story from Injustice for All, drawing its characters and setting from the Justice League animated series. The narrative begins with Martian Manhunter detecting a psychic anomaly in the arctic, prompting the remaining six league members to form into three fixed pairs for the investigation.
Gameplay involves controlling a duo of superheroes through levels presented in a pseudo 3D space, allowing movement along multiple axes. Players can tackle objectives by navigating environments or holding position against waves of enemies. A second player can join cooperatively, with each person controlling one character; in single player, the AI manages the partner when switched out.
Combat utilizes standard jump and attack commands alongside character specific special moves. These powerful attacks are governed by a separate meter that depletes fully upon use and requires a fair recharge period before becoming available again. Beyond the story, a Watchtower training mode permits free experimentation with any character pairing across all levels, though duplicate heroes are not allowed.
