Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced for the Game Boy Advance continues the platforming adventures of its predecessor. The central conflict involves rescuing allies who have been captured by Uka Uka and Dr. Nefarious Tropy, a situation complicated by the mistaken abduction of an evil clone of Crash.
Gameplay maintains the series' established format, blending traditional 2D platforming sections with chase sequences that utilize a 3D perspective. A new mode called Atlasphere introduces a different style of play, where the character navigates inside a ball across various terrains to perform tricks and gather items from crates.
