Golden Sun Overview
Golden Sun is a role-playing game where players control a party of characters who can manipulate objects through a skill called Psynergy. The protagonist, Isaac, originates from the town of Vale on Angara and must gather a team to prevent mages from another island from using four Elemental Stones to destroy his homeland.
Spells are created by combining four elemental types: earth, fire, water, and wind. These spells consume a resource that naturally replenishes when not in active use. In addition to standard combat, which often involves groups of monsters, players can find and collect Djinni creatures to grant specific characters enhanced abilities.
The game includes a feature for two players to connect their systems. The combat encounters are structured to be fair, typically presenting multiple opponents at once.
