Dual Blades Overview
Dual Blades is a fighting game set on a two-dimensional plane, with its narrative unfolding in the Hun Empire during 150 B.C. The central figure is Alperen, a warrior whose union with a mystical sword called Dual Blades has granted him immense power and eternal life. This circumstance draws fighters from various eras into conflict with him, each seeking either the sword's gift of immortality or confronting their own demise.
Players engage in combat using one of nine distinct characters, each rendered with large sprites. The action occurs within vibrant arenas that feature multi-layered scrolling backgrounds. A selection of modes is available, including options for solo arcade progression, competitive two-player matches, and practice sessions. Direct competition between two players is facilitated through the use of a Game Link cable.
The combat system incorporates mechanics for chaining attacks together and includes graphic finishing moves. The roster of characters, though limited in number, is designed to offer unique combatants for player versus player encounters.
