Curious George for the Game Boy Advance is a platform game adaptation of its film counterpart. The player controls the monkey George, whose journey spans diverse environments including a jungle, a ship, and a city as he attempts to return home after following the Man in the Yellow Hat.
Gameplay involves navigating these areas by jumping, climbing, and swinging. A key mechanic is George's interaction with marked objects, which typically results in them breaking when the player presses the corresponding button. The levels are populated with collectible fireflies that serve to guide progression; gathering fifty of these grants an additional life.
