Hive Guardian Overview
Hive Guardian was one of those straightforward Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, focused browser game. You just loaded it up and got to work.
You control a guardian stationed at the hive entrance. Your job is simple: stop the waves of incoming bees. You use your mouse to aim and shoot, and there's usually a secondary weapon, like a grenade launcher, for tougher swarms. The main objective is to survive as long as possible, protecting the hive's core. The pacing starts slow but builds tension quickly as the bee formations become more aggressive and numerous. It feels like a tense, methodical stand against an endless, buzzing tide.
