Effin' Terrorists 2 Overview
Effin' Terrorists 2 was one of those games you'd find buried in a Flash portal during the late 2000s. It didn't have a big studio name attached to it, just a simple premise delivered through your browser. You loaded it up, and it was immediately clear what you were in for.
You control a lone counter-terrorist operative viewed from above. Your mouse aims the crosshair, and a click fires your weapon. The moment to moment play is about clearing rooms of hostile figures before they can shoot you or execute hostages. Your main objective is to eliminate every terrorist on each floor of a building. You can press spacebar to zoom in with a scope for more precise shots, and you have to remember to reload by pressing R. The pacing is tense and quick; one wrong move or a missed shot often means starting the level over. It feels like a frantic test of reflexes and accuracy.
