Defense Overview
Defense was one of those straightforward Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s. It didn't have a big studio name attached, just a simple title screen and a clear purpose. You loaded it up in your browser, and it was ready to go without any fuss.
You control a stationary turret at the bottom of the screen, using your mouse to aim and click to fire. Your job is to shoot down waves of descending UFOs before they can reach the planet below. The mechanics are basic: you track the saucers as they zigzag downward, and you learn to lead your shots as they speed up. The pacing starts slow but builds tension with each new wave, the screen gradually filling with more targets. It feels like a focused test of your aim and timing under pressure.
