Corridor Overview
Corridor was one of those simple, direct games you'd find during the Flash era. It came out in 2005, made by a developer named Nitrome. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, satisfying action game you could play in a browser.
You control a lone soldier moving automatically down a narrow, futuristic hallway. Your job is to survive. You use the mouse to aim and fire at the robots and turrets that appear ahead, clearing a path before they can shoot you. The main objective is to reach the end of each stage, but the immediate challenge is managing the constant stream of enemies. You have to prioritize targets, sometimes shooting explosive barrels to clear groups, and avoid getting boxed in. The pacing is relentless; the game gets harder quickly, introducing faster enemies and more complex layouts. It feels tense and immediate, like a focused test of your reflexes.
