Britain 1940 2 Overview
Britain 1940 2 was one of those straightforward action games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, playable diversion in your browser.
You control a single fighter plane from a top-down perspective. Your job is to fly over the English Channel and surrounding areas, shooting down enemy aircraft and sometimes attacking ground targets. You use the arrow keys to maneuver and the spacebar to fire your guns. A red meter tracks your plane's damage, while a blue one shows your remaining fuel. The game moves at a steady pace, with enemies arriving in waves that gradually test your reflexes. The objective is simply to survive for as long as you can, racking up a high score before you're inevitably shot down or run out of fuel. It feels like a focused, no-frills arcade challenge.
