Aliens: The Board Game Overview
You control a small team of marines, moving them one by one across a map divided into squares. Each turn, you decide where to position your soldiers, often having them take cover behind crates or in doorways before ordering them to fire at the approaching aliens. The main goal is usually to survive a set number of rounds or eliminate all hostiles in an area. You manage action points for movement and attacks, and positioning is critical because your marines can easily be overwhelmed if they are isolated. The game moves at a deliberate, sometimes tense pace, as you wait for the next wave of creatures to emerge from the shadows. It feels like a careful, sometimes desperate puzzle where a single misstep can get your entire squad killed.
