Dig It! Overview
Dig It! presents a platforming scenario where the protagonist Dug Kewl must recover his abducted wife Dugette from the Supreme Spurkasaur. The rescue mission spans four distinct worlds, each subdivided into multiple levels.
Progress through a level is achieved by locating a specific spot marked with an X and drilling downward to advance. The environment is populated by hostile creatures such as dragons, giant snails, and armored hedgehogs, which Dug can confront using his drill and a gun. Exploration is encouraged, as drilling in certain unmarked locations can reveal secret areas containing additional treasure to collect.
The objective remains consistent across the journey: navigate through every level in all four worlds to finally achieve the reunion with Dugette. The structure suggests a challenging progression where completion of the entire sequence is mandatory for success.
