Capcom's Soccer Shootout is a soccer simulation for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It features twelve international teams and supports multiplayer sessions for up to four participants.
The game includes a variety of match types beyond standard exhibition play. These encompass a full season mode, which can be configured for either 22 or 44 games with the objective of winning a championship, alongside dedicated options for penalty kicks, indoor soccer, and training. An All-Star Game is also available.
Its approach to on-field action incorporates several specific athletic maneuvers to simulate real soccer. Players can perform bicycle kicks and side tackles, while goalkeepers are capable of making diving saves.
