Qix Adventure Overview
Qix Adventure adapts the established arcade series for handheld play, introducing a character named Speedy who is tasked with obtaining treasure from beasts. The core objective remains filling a set portion of the playfield, a task complicated by roaming enemies.
This iteration expands on the formula by integrating treasure collection directly into the area-capture mechanic. Each stage contains a specific beast and a locked chest; capturing the beast opens the chest, revealing a treasure that must then also be captured. This process allows for multiple treasures to be secured per level, alongside other collectible items that provide benefits.
Beyond this primary treasure mode, which features a stronger narrative focus, the package includes a battle mode and a version of the original Qix arcade game. The player must navigate the playfield while avoiding threats to complete their objectives.
