Pocket Bowling Overview
Alt. Names:
ポケットボウリング
Pocket Bowling is a bowling simulation for the Game Boy Color. Players can engage in single matches, a four round tournament with password based progress saving, or a practice mode that permits any pin arrangement to be targeted.
Character selection precedes gameplay, with five options offering distinct statistical profiles and a choice between right or left handed play. The core throwing mechanic is a multi stage process initiated by aligning the ball on the lane. Four timed button presses follow: the first activates a curve meter, the second stops it to set the ball's hook, the third sets the power on a separate meter, and a final press must align with a target zone for optimal accuracy.
