xXx Overview
xXx for the Game Boy Advance adapts the film's premise, casting the player as extreme sports enthusiast turned NSA operative Xander Cage. His mission is to confront the Anarchy 99 syndicate and destroy their arsenal of missiles, bombs, and biological weapons.
Gameplay alternates between two primary modes. One is a side-scrolling action format where the character navigates platforms, employs firearms like an AK-47 and shotgun, and utilizes grenades. This mode also requires avoiding environmental hazards such as mines and tripwires. The other mode consists of driving sequences where the player controls a motorcycle, evading obstacles and physically combating enemy riders to remove them from the road.
Throughout the experience, items like power-ups and health kits can be collected to aid progress. The game integrates shooting, platform navigation, and vehicular combat into its mission structure.
