Pinky and the Brain: The Masterplan is a side-scrolling action title where players alternate control between the two lead characters. Their distinct physical capabilities, such as one character's superior jumping and the other's ability to inflate his head, form the basis for the game's environmental puzzles.
The experience is structured around sixteen primary levels and includes the use of two different vehicles. Progress through the main game unlocks access to five separate bonus games. These bonus activities can also support multiplayer sessions for up to four players via a link cable.
The overarching objective, consistent with the source material, remains the duo's perpetual ambition of world domination.
