Legendz : Sign of Nekuromu Overview
Legendz: Sign of Nekuromu is a side-scrolling platformer. Its narrative follows Spyro, a dragon raised by dragonflies after his egg was rescued during an attack on a sacred temple. Alongside his adoptive brother Sparx, he embarks on a journey of self-discovery that leads to a confrontation with the forces of the Dark Master.
Gameplay involves standard platforming actions complemented by a suite of elemental breath attacks. These powers, including fire, ice, earth, and lightning, are acquired progressively. Players can execute a continuous stream or a targeted projectile with these elements. A special Fury attack becomes available when a dedicated meter is charged.
The experience is diversified with several mini-game segments. These include flying shooter sequences and whack-a-mole style challenges. The progression is punctuated by boss encounters, primarily against the minions of the antagonist Cynder, as part of the goal to liberate captured Guardians.
