Fire Emblem: Fūin no Tsurugi is a tactical role playing game where players command a diverse roster of units across grid based battlefields. This sixth series entry is distinguished by being the first developed for a handheld platform.
The narrative follows Roy, prince of Pherae and son of the earlier hero Eliwood. His story begins two decades after the events of Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken, with an assault on his castle by bandits shortly after he departs with his knights.
