FIFA Soccer 2004 Overview
FIFA Soccer 2004 for the Game Boy Advance builds upon the foundation of its predecessor. The core gameplay experience remains consistent, utilizing an overhead perspective with two-way scrolling and familiar control schemes.
While many teams, modes, and options are carried over, the roster has been adjusted. The selection of international teams is now smaller, but more clubs from the rest of the world are included. The league count has grown with the addition of Dutch and Portuguese competitions.
Available modes encompass standard friendlies, linked multiplayer, and various tournaments. Alongside league play for all included leagues and returning unlicensed European cups, three new competitions are present. These new tournaments, however, require a connection to the GameCube version to be unlocked.
