Asterix & Obelix: Bash Them All! is a compilation for the Game Boy Advance containing two distinct side-scrolling platform titles. Both games are adaptations of the French comic series, with one being a port of an earlier SNES release.
The second title, based on the Cleopatra story, involves Asterix assisting an architect with a pyramid construction. Gameplay consists of navigating levels from left to right, overcoming obstacles and confronting various foes. These enemies include Roman soldiers, pirates, and fraudulent contractors dispatched by a rival Caesar.
Progress through the platforming stages is punctuated by mini-games that cap off each level. The narrative for this portion adheres to the plot of its source comic and animated film.
