Ace Combat Advance Overview
Ace Combat Advance is presented from a top down perspective, placing the player in control of an aircraft. The core conflict involves a private military force, the Air Strike Force, which is employed by General Resources Ltd. for economic warfare. This prompts the world's nations to unite under the United Air Defense to counter this corporate threat.
Gameplay involves selecting both a primary aircraft and a secondary weapon system before each sortie. During a mission, the plane can be rotated, dived, and its speed managed. Offensive capabilities consist of a forward firing cannon and the use of the chosen secondary armament.
Players undertake a series of twelve operations, each preceded by a briefing that outlines specific objectives and targets.
