Xtreme Speed Boat Overview
Xtreme Speed Boat was one of those games you'd find on a Flash gaming site in the late 2000s. It didn't have a big studio name attached to it, but it was a straightforward racing game with a simple hook: you were in a speedboat, not a car.
You control a single boat, using the arrow keys to steer through winding river courses. The main goal is to finish each race in first place. You tap the spacebar for a nitro boost, which drains a meter you refill by driving over floating icons. The water has a noticeable physics feel, making the boat slide and bounce on the waves. The races are short and the difficulty comes from tight turns and avoiding buoys or the riverbank. It feels like a quick, slippery challenge where a small mistake can cost you the lead.
