Speedracer Overview
Speedracer was one of those games you'd find on a Flash gaming site in the late 2000s. It was a simple, straightforward driving game that fit right into that era of quick browser-based entertainment. You didn't need an account or a download; you just clicked and started playing.
You control a small, low-polygon car from a top-down perspective, constantly moving forward on a winding highway. Your only job is to avoid the other traffic for as long as possible. The left and right arrow keys are all you use, weaving between lanes of oncoming cars and trucks. The game starts slow, but the traffic quickly becomes denser and the pace relentless. A single mistake sends you spinning off the road. It feels tense and immediate, a pure test of reaction and focus.
