Virus 2 Overview
Virus 2 was one of those games you'd find on a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It had a simple, clean look that was common for the time, built for quick sessions between other tasks. You would load it up in your browser, and the game would start almost immediately, no tutorials needed.
You control a colored organism, a sort of growing mass, on a grid of hexagonal cells. Your goal is to spread your color across every cell before you use up your limited number of attempts. Each click consumes one attempt to convert a neutral or enemy cell to your side. The challenge comes from the opposing viruses that also spread with each turn, sometimes blocking your path or reclaiming territory you just took. The pace is methodical; you have to think a move or two ahead, weighing expansion against conservation. It feels like a quiet, persistent puzzle where a single misclick can unravel your careful plans.
