U.f.o Shop 2 Overview
U.f.o Shop 2 was a Flash game from the era when you could find a new, strange little world in your browser every day. It came out in 2005, made by a developer known as On. It had that particular look and feel of early 2000s web games, simple in presentation but with a distinct sense of humor.
You control a small, round character who works as a janitor in a school. Your job is to clean up by collecting one hundred soup noodles scattered across the classroom floors. You move from room to room using the arrow keys, navigating the grid-like layout while avoiding the patrolling teachers. If a teacher catches you, the shift is over. Some of the noodles are inside square containers; collecting these makes your janitor temporarily larger and increases your movement speed, which helps in tight spots. The game is methodical, requiring you to watch patrol patterns and plan your route. It feels like a careful, slightly absurd puzzle where you are mopping up lunch instead of ghosts.
