The Fright Before Christmas Overview
You control a character defending a house from an invasion of hostile toys. Using your mouse to aim and shoot, you try to eliminate the waves of enemies as they approach. A key mechanic lets you switch between different characters, each with their own weapon or ability, by pressing the spacebar. Between rounds, you can visit a shop to purchase upgrades for your firepower or defenses. The pacing is steady, with the difficulty ramping up as more and faster enemies appear. It feels like a straightforward, hectic defense against a surprisingly aggressive assortment of holiday decorations.
