Tanks Overview
You control a single tank from a top-down view. Using the arrow keys, you move left and right across the battlefield. The up and down arrows carefully adjust the angle of your cannon. Before each shot, you set the power with the page up and page down keys, trying to account for distance and gravity. Then you press space to fire. Your goal is to destroy the red enemy tank positioned somewhere on the other side of the terrain. The landscape is full of destructible blocks and hills that block your shots, so you often have to blast a path first or find the right arc over an obstacle. The game is turn-based, so you take a shot, then wait for the computer to fire back. It feels methodical and tense, a quiet game of artillery chess where a single miscalculation ends your turn buried in rubble.
