Super Mario Time Attack Overview
Super Mario Time Attack was one of those Flash games you'd find on a fan site in the early 2000s. It belonged to that era where creators would take familiar characters and build small, focused challenges around them. The game didn't have the polish of an official release, but it had a clear, simple purpose that pulled you in.
You control Mario, running and jumping through a series of side scrolling levels. The main objective is straightforward: reach the flagpole at the end before the timer hits zero. You'll dodge Goombas, hop over gaps, and sometimes hit question blocks for coins, though the coins don't add time. The levels are short, but the timer is strict, pushing you to move quickly and memorize layouts. The difficulty comes from that constant pressure, forcing you to optimize every jump and turn. It feels like a race against yourself, a quick test of reflexes and route planning.
