Super Mario Bounce Overview
Super Mario Bounce was one of those simple Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s. It wasn't an official Nintendo release, just a fan creation that captured the look of Mario with a different kind of physics. You'd play it in a browser window, a quick distraction between other tasks.
You control Mario, who is essentially a ball that bounces automatically. Your main job is to guide him left or right with the arrow keys, using his momentum to navigate platforms and avoid hazards. The goal in each stage is to reach a star, but you have to do it within a set number of bounces. This turns every jump into a calculation. You can collect coins and mushrooms for points, and some levels offer weapons you can select and fire to clear obstacles. The pacing is steady, and the challenge comes from managing your limited bounces while plotting a path. It feels like a puzzle wrapped in a platformer's skin, where a single mistimed move can send you back to the start.
