Special Force Overview
Special Force was one of those straightforward shooters you'd find on a Flash game site in the mid-2000s. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, accessible action game you could play in a browser. The setup was simple and familiar for the time.
You control a soldier from a first-person perspective, moving through linear levels to eliminate all hostile targets. The main objective is to clear each area of enemies before advancing. You use the mouse to aim and shoot, with keys for movement and actions like reloading. The weapons feel weighty, and the sound of gunfire is sharp against the quiet between engagements. The pacing is methodical; you often hold a position, picking off enemies as they appear from doorways or behind cover. It can be unforgiving if you rush. The experience is tense and focused, built on that basic loop of aiming, firing, and surviving to the next room.
