Sonic Boom Cannon 3d Overview
You control the launch angle of a cannon that holds Sonic. Using the arrow keys, you tilt the cannon up or down to find the right trajectory. When you're ready, you hit the spacebar to fire him across a 3D landscape. The main goal is to launch Sonic as far as possible in a single shot. Along the way, you try to collect rings scattered in the air for a higher score. The game moves quickly from attempt to attempt; you adjust your angle slightly, fire, and immediately see the result. It can be tricky to find the perfect launch, as a small change in angle makes a big difference in distance. The experience is focused on that instant of release and the brief arc of Sonic's flight through the air.
