Jurassic Drive Overview
Jurassic Drive was one of those physics-based driving games that felt right at home in the Flash era. You would find it on a gaming portal, load it up in your browser, and within seconds be trying to keep a truck upright on rough terrain. It had a simple premise that fit the quick-play style of the time.
You control a delivery truck, carefully balancing it as it bounces across a prehistoric landscape. The main goal is to reach the end of each level without tipping over or getting wrecked. You use the arrow keys to accelerate, brake, and tilt the vehicle left or right to compensate for the uneven ground. Obstacles like rocks and sudden drops can flip you if you're not paying attention. The dinosaurs wandering the path add another layer of tension; hitting one usually means starting over. The game moves at a steady pace, but the physics make it challenging. Controlling the truck feels precarious and a little unpredictable, which makes a successful run satisfying.
