You guide the prospector left and right along the surface. Pressing the down arrow launches your mining tool, a claw on a cable, straight into the ground below. The core loop involves dropping the claw, snagging gold nuggets or occasional treasures like diamonds, and carefully reeling them back up without hitting rocky obstacles. If the cable touches the sides of the narrow shaft or a stray rock, it snaps and you lose your haul. The game moves at a deliberate pace, but the tension builds with each descent as the shafts become more cluttered. It feels like a careful test of precision and timing, where a steady hand is more valuable than speed.
