Plazma Burst Overview
Plazma Burst was one of those games you'd find on a Flash gaming site in the late 2000s. It was a straightforward 2D side-scroller where you controlled a soldier in a sci-fi setting. The game didn't have a lot of story, but it didn't need one to pull you in.
You move with the arrow keys, aiming and firing with your mouse. The objective is simple: clear each level of enemies. You start with a basic rifle, but defeating foes earns you credits to buy new weapons between missions. You can switch between your purchased arsenal using the number keys, and the enter key lets you toss a grenade into a crowded room. The pace is quick, with enemies often appearing from both sides of the screen, forcing you to keep moving. It feels like a focused, responsive test of your aim and positioning.
