Mid-flight Snack Overview
Mid-flight Snack is one of those Flash games from the late 2000s that felt like a shared secret. You would find it on a portal, play for a few minutes, and then maybe send the link to a friend. It was a simple, cartoonish scene about three characters trying to sneak food without getting caught.
You control Eduardo, Mac, and Bloo, each with their own spot in the kitchen. The goal is to grab specific snacks from the fridge and cabinets before the homeowner wakes up. You click on items to have a character move and interact, but you have to manage all three at once. If one makes too much noise or moves while being watched, the light in the hallway turns on and the game ends. The pacing is tense and quiet. You find yourself planning little routes, waiting for the right moment to send a character across the floor. It feels like conducting a careful, silly heist where any misstep ruins everything.
