You control Mater's position and aim his tow cable. The core of the game is lining up your shot, adjusting the angle and the power of your throw to hook the stranded car. Timing the release is key; if you're off, the cable falls short or flies past. Once you make the connection, you reverse to pull the car free. The levels introduce different obstacles and layouts that force you to recalculate each attempt. It's not a frantic game, but it requires a steady hand and some patience to get the feel right.
