Krakken Attack Overview
Krakken Attack was one of those straightforward Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, browser-based shooter. You loaded it up, and within seconds you were in the action, with simple graphics and clear objectives. It fit right into that era of instant, accessible gaming.
You control a small ship, or sometimes a hero, flying over a cityscape. Your job is to defend the buildings below from a giant, multi-tentacled kraken. You move left and right, firing upward at the creature's limbs as they snake down toward the rooftops. The main goal is to destroy all the tentacles before they can crush the city. Each level often introduces a new character or vehicle to pilot, changing your weapon slightly, though the core task remains the same. The pace is steady, and the difficulty comes from managing the increasing number of attacking limbs. It feels like a constant, focused battle against a single, large enemy.
