Flames Of Fury Overview
Flames of Fury was one of those straightforward action games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, satisfying way to pass some time in a browser. You played as a dragon, which was a pretty appealing premise on its own.
You control the dragon with the arrow keys, flying left and right across the screen. The mouse aims your head, and a left click shoots a fireball at the ground forces below. The main goal is simple: destroy all the incoming military vehicles, like tanks and helicopters, before they can overwhelm you. You could switch between different fireball types, like a standard shot and a more powerful one, by pressing the spacebar. The pace is constant, with waves of enemies arriving without much pause, and it gets quite difficult as the screen fills with projectiles. It feels like a hectic, almost rhythmic exercise in positioning and timing your attacks.
