Excited Insects Overview
Excited Insects was one of those games you'd find in the later days of the Flash era, a simple shooter that loaded quickly in a browser window. It didn't have a complicated backstory or a known developer behind it, which was common for many games from that time. You just opened it and started playing.
You control a small ship at the bottom of the screen, using the keyboard to move and the mouse to aim. The objective is straightforward: destroy every robotic insect that descends from the top before they reach your position. You can switch between different weapons, like a standard shot and a more powerful thunder attack, to handle the waves. The pace picks up quickly, and the screen can get crowded, making careful movement and aiming essential. It feels like a focused test of reflexes and target priority.
