Demoman Overview
Demoman was one of those physics-based games that felt common during the Flash era. You would find it on gaming portals, a simple concept built for a quick session between other tasks. It came out in 2005, a product of that specific time when browser games were experimenting with mouse-driven mechanics.
You control a wrecking ball hanging from a crane. The core action is swinging your mouse to build momentum, then releasing to send the heavy ball crashing into a tall office building. Your goal is to completely demolish the structure, floor by floor, before moving to the next level. The game relies on timing and angle; a poorly aimed swing might only clip a corner, while a solid hit sends glass and concrete tumbling. The pacing is direct, with each level presenting a slightly more complex building to topple. It feels satisfyingly destructive in a straightforward, almost methodical way.
