Cosmic Blast Overview
Cosmic Blast was one of those straightforward shooters you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, satisfying way to pass a few minutes in a browser. The game had a simple premise that it delivered without much fuss.
You control a small, triangular ship against a starry backdrop. Your goal is to survive by destroying everything that moves. Asteroids drift into view, and you blast them apart with your primary weapon. Larger planets sometimes appear, and breaking them open releases valuable fuel or power-ups. The controls are basic; you steer with the arrow keys and fire with the spacebar. The pace is steady, but it can get hectic as the screen fills with fragments and enemy fire. It feels like a focused, almost methodical exercise in clearing the screen before you're overwhelmed.
