Boom Box 2 Overview
Boom Box 2 was one of those games you'd find on a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It fit right in with the simple, colorful puzzle games that were popular then. I remember playing it during breaks, a quick distraction that didn't require much setup.
You control a cursor that shoots colored blocks onto a grid. The main goal is to clear the board by grouping three or more blocks of the same color. You aim your shots carefully, trying to create large clusters for bigger chain reactions. The game adds pressure by slowly filling the screen with new rows of blocks. It starts calmly but picks up speed, demanding faster decisions as the grid gets crowded. The experience is a focused race against a steadily rising wall of color.
