Boom Box Overview
Boom Box was one of those puzzle games you'd find in the Flash era. It had a clean, simple look that loaded quickly in a browser window. The game didn't make a big fuss about itself; it was just there to play.
You control a steady stream of colored blocks as they fall from the top of the screen. Your job is to rotate and position them to form complete lines, which then vanish. The main objective is to keep the playfield clear and survive for as long as possible. Two mechanics stand out: you can use a bomb to clear a cluster of blocks, and you can slam a piece down instantly to speed up your placement. The pace is steady, but it picks up as your stack grows taller, introducing a quiet tension. It feels like a focused race against your own stacking mistakes.
