Beat The Cheese Overview
You control Garfield, the famously lazy cat, who is apparently motivated enough to defend a block of cheese. Using your mouse, you click on the rats that scurry onto the screen from the edges, making Garfield swat at them. The main objective is to prevent the rodents from stealing the cheese placed in the center. The mechanics involve timing your clicks to hit the rats as they dart in and out, and the game often speeds up, introducing more rats at once to increase the pressure. It starts calmly but can get surprisingly frantic as you try to keep up with the onslaught. The feeling is one of simple, repetitive action that becomes a test of your reflexes and mouse accuracy.
