Beach Defence Overview
Beach Defence was one of those straightforward Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s. It didn't have a complicated story or fancy graphics. You just loaded it up in your browser and started playing. The goal was simple, but holding the line was another matter entirely.
You control a single turret fixed in the center of the screen. Your mouse moves the crosshair, and you click to fire at the endless rows of soldiers and vehicles advancing from the sea. The main objective is to stop them from reaching your bunker at the bottom of the screen. Early waves are manageable, letting you pick off infantry with single shots. Later, you face faster troops, armored cars, and helicopters, forcing you to prioritize targets and conserve ammunition. The pacing is relentless; the screen fills up, and the sound of gunfire becomes constant. It feels like a frantic, last stand against an overwhelming tide.
