Avian War Overview
Avian War was one of those straightforward shooters you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, accessible game you could load in a browser. The presentation was simple, with clean graphics and a clear focus on action.
You pilot a single fighter jet against waves of enemy aircraft. The controls are basic: you move with the arrow keys and fire your main weapon with one button. Two other buttons let you launch secondary weapons, like missiles or bombs, which you collect from downed foes. Your goal is to survive as long as possible, clearing each wave before a boss appears. The pace is steady, and the difficulty builds in a predictable way. It feels like a focused test of your reflexes and positioning.
