Assault Part 1 Overview
Assault Part 1 was one of those straightforward shooters you'd find in the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, action-packed experience you could load in a browser. The game had a simple premise that got you right into the action without much setup.
You control a lone soldier viewed from above, moving through a maze of gray buildings and fences. Your mouse directs your movement and aims your weapon, letting you strafe around corners to fire at guards. The goal is to infiltrate a military base, clearing each section of enemies to progress. You collect ammo from fallen foes and watch for patrols that can quickly surround you. The pace is relentless, and the difficulty comes from the sheer number of enemies you face in confined spaces. It feels tense and immediate, a test of reflexes more than strategy.
