Alex Trax Overview
Alex Trax was one of those physics-based bike games that showed up during the Flash era. You controlled a rider on a unicycle, navigating through a series of obstacle courses. The goal was straightforward: get to the exit without crashing.
You steer by leaning left or right with the arrow keys, building momentum by pedaling forward. The challenge comes from managing your balance while navigating ramps, narrow beams, and gaps. Some levels require you to collect a key before reaching the exit door. You can use a dedicated action key to accelerate for a quick burst, which helps on inclines or for clearing obstacles. The game has a deliberate pace; it's less about speed and more about precise control. A mistimed lean or an overzealous pedal will send Alex tumbling. The physics feel weighty and unforgiving, making each successful landing a small relief.
