Air Defence 3 Overview
Air Defence 3 was one of those straightforward tower defense games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a solid, time-filling experience you could load in a browser. The mechanics were simple enough to grasp quickly, which was part of its appeal for a casual session.
You control a fixed turret, using your mouse to aim and click to fire at waves of incoming aircraft and missiles. Your main objective is to protect a central base from being destroyed. You manage your fire rate and often switch between target types, prioritizing faster units or larger groups. The pacing starts slow but builds steadily, with later waves becoming quite dense and demanding quicker reflexes. It feels like a focused test of your precision and target prioritization under a gradually tightening clock.
